Start by cutting off the bottom section of the sock. This will cover a good section of the cone. With the excess at the top you can either trim it or wrap the excess around the cone and add some hot glue to secure it.
Using the scissors cut a 4 x 5 inch section of the microfiber cloth, this will be the beard. I trimmed it down so it was more of a triangle shape and looked more like a beard. Hot glue this onto the cone about ยพ of the way up the cone.
I stuffed some of the pieces of the microfiber cloth into the foot portion of the sock. I felt this made it more sturdy and helped give the hat some shape. I rolled the bottom edge of the sock so it would create a trim for the hat and placed it onto the top portion of the cone. Use hot glue to secure.
I trimmed about an 16 inch section of the berry garland and wrapped it around the hat to help the hat hold its shape but also to give it a wintery look
Add some hot glue to the bead and place at the bottom of the trim of the hat!
