Place the ground beef and onion to a skillet over medium high heat. Saute until the meat is browned and the onions have softened. Drain any excess fat.
Mix in the garlic, and saute another 30 seconds.
Place the meat mixture into the Crockpot.
Add the diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, relish, beef broth and salt and pepper to taste in the Crockpot, and stir to combine.
Cover and cook on high for 3 hours.
Mix in the heavy whipping cream and cheddar cheese. Cover and cook an additional 1 hour.
Stir in the bacon and serve.
