Mix together the ingredients for the chaffle in a mixing bowl

While the chaffle is cooking, add the ingredients for the filling to a bowl,
and stir to combine well.
Spread the filling onto one chaffle.
Place the chaffle with the filling on it into the oven under a broiler for a few minutes until it starts to melt.
Put the other chaffle on top of the other with the filling, and serve with freshly chopped green onions if desired.
